Castle Hill AV uses Lutron Technology for lighting control and home automation. We can automate your home or business. You’ll never need to touch a light switch, shade, or thermostat again. Add an easy to use Sonos music system and create single or multiple customized lighting scenes. These provide ambiance and drama indoors or out. Castle Hill Audio Video has vast experience installing landscape lighting. We turn pool, yard, garden and entire estates into focal points. You can set up an “Entertain at the Pool” scene. With a tap from the app on your phone or tablet, turn on your outdoor lights or accent lights to a predetermined brightness. The preset will also activate and tune your outdoor sound system to your favorite music source. Volume control and light dimming functionality all reside on your mobile device.
Lutron home automation comes in 3 flavors.
Caseta
Caseta is the entry level system. It allow for simple scene setting, some timed events and a limited number of devices. It is useful in situations where only a limited amount of control is desired. For example, controlling landscape lighting or creating a 3-way light switch where there is no wiring installed.
Radio Ra
Radio Ra is the step up system from Caseta. It allows up to 100 devices, the use of keypads and more extensive programming capabilities. It also offers a greater variety of colors, finishes and styles.
Homeworks QSX
Homeworks is the top of the line, intended for larger installations. It allows thousands of devices and even more extensive programming. For instance, a single button on a key pad can be programmed to do multiple functions. A single tap can turn on a group of lights to a preset scene, while a double-tap can turn the same lights to a different brightness or even trigger a completely different scene. Pretty much whatever you want to happen with your connected devices can be accomplished. For example, you can have a Movie scene. The button push can dim the lights to a preset level and close the shades. There are different styles of dimmers, switches and keypads in many different styles with an assortment of colors and materials.
