Mastersound Dueventi

Output Transformer

One of the most important components in creating a great tube amplifier like the Mastersound Dueventi is the output transformer.

At Mastersound output transformers are wrapped one at a time by hand on a mechanical winding machine, based on the experience, passion and the research of Mr. Cesare Sanavio.

He then transmitted such knowledge to his son Mr. Luciano Sanavio who succeeded in the great challenge of further innovating it in a surprising way. And introducing an innovative and unique construction technique that makes Mastersound Dueventi output transformer unique in the world.

This precious tradition is the cornerstone of the outstanding quality of our amplifiers, which offer an exceptional performance thanks to their special output transformers. Great dynamics, power, and harmonic richness are the characteristics that a class A tube amplifier can and must have.  The classic limitations imposed by traditional output transformers are unacceptable for the Mastersound Dueventi.

Because of this Mastersound keeps its secret very carefully.

Hand Made

Since 1994 Mastersound has been manufacturing high-end audio components of unsurpassed quality. From the very beginning our goal has been to create a perfect blend of the highest-quality sound.

Mastersound’s experienced staff manufactures Mastersound Dueventi amplifiers one by one with extreme care.  We make all the amplifiers in our laboratory in Arcugnano using the best  components and processing available on the market to reach any and all standards required to be timeless pieces. If there is the opportunity to tap into Italian mastery every day, why not do it?

Consequently, Mastersound takes the “Made in Italy” label very seriously.

The sensitivity we use every day in the pursuit of sound harmony cannot betray and harm our environment. We are aware that being a small part and at the same time at the center of the world requires the maximum possible use of recyclable materials.

Our Italian master craftsmen finely process Natural wood that gives the Mastersound Dueventi amplifiers their Italian style, making them unique and timeless.

We make the chasis of Steel.   This is a material that requires less energy and heat for its production.  In addition, it is possible to melt and reuse steel to be truly sustainable.

But basically, a Mastersound Dueventi amplifier is destined to go beyond our time and reach future generations.
