PARASOUND HINT 6 2.1 Channel Integrated Amplifier

The Parasound HINT6 Integrated Amplifier is the latest integrated amplifier from the Halo line.

Power Amp
The amplifier section is a design by the legendary John Curl. The amp makes 160 watts per channel at 8 ohms. Also, there are 240 watts available at 4 ohms. So the amp is a high bias class A/AB operation type. Of course, an oversized shielded toroid power transformer is in use. Also, a dual-mono power supply and power amplifier is a feature of this integrated amp. The result is a sound that is rich and clear.

Pre-Amp
The DAC section of the Parasound HINT6 Integrated Amplifier is outstanding. The ESS Sabre32 Reference DAC (ES9018K2M) is capable of Asynchronous USB 2.0. As a result it supports PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit. Additionally, the PUSB input will decode Native DSD64, DSD128, DSD256 and DoP DSD. Certainly the coax and optical inputs accept up to 192kHz/24-bit. In addition there are 6 analog inputs. The front panel has an input for a handheld device. So, all this means excellent connectivity for all your music sources.
